Billy Moore, President
Mr. Moore has been a highly touted member of the boxing community for over thirty years. He has worked with and trained the best there is. Mr. Moore has been the President and CEO of ABC Youth Foundation since the passing of his father Archie Moore, who founded the organization in 1957. Mr. Moore has touched the lives of hundreds of youth and been a large part of many of them becoming successful and productive members of society. He has been a Boxing Color Analyst and Commentator on numerous boxing broadcasts. He has been an active member of the San Diego community for over thirty years and continues to give back. In addition to his work with ABC, Mr. Moore is deeply committed to his faith. Alongside his wife, Senior Pastor Dr. John, and Pastor Donna Ringgold, he has traveled to nearly fifty countries to teach others about the transformative power of Christ. Mr. Moore’s dedication to his family, faith, and community reflect the values he instills in the youth he serves.

LeMar Slater
LeMar Slater is an ABC Graduate and excited to serve the organization that has given him so much. He along with his Brother participated in ABC as youth and are now both graduates of Morehouse College. A lifelong learner and educator, he brings years of classroom and one on one tutoring support to the ABC learning center. He believes in stepping out in life with his best foot forward, without cowardice but with courage and dignity.

David Nisleit
David Nisleit, the former Chief of Police for the City of San Diego, dedicated over three decades to the San Diego Police Department. His distinguished career in law enforcement began in 1988 and culminated in his appointment as Chief of Police in March 2018. Chief Nisleit is widely recognized for his commitment to community policing, innovative crime reduction strategies, and enhancing the relationship between the police force and the communities they serve.
Under Chief Nisleit’s leadership, the San Diego Police Department saw significant advancements in areas such as crime reduction, community engagement, and officer wellness. He implemented numerous programs aimed at fostering trust and cooperation between the police and the public, ensuring that San Diego remained one of the safest large cities in the
United States.
Since his retirement, David Nisleit continues to serve the law enforcement community by contributing his expertise and experience to Anybody Can Boxing (ABC). As a board member, he plays a crucial role in supporting and guiding ABC’s mission to improve the lives of our youth.
David Nisleit holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy and the FBI National Executive Institute.

Amy Murad
Amy Murad is a retired SDUSD teacher. Over her 28 year career, she taught various grade levels and was the school librarian at Toler Elementary School. Amy joined the ABC Board in 2011 and has held the position of Director of Education in the past. Her volunteer efforts at ABC include creating the “Bridging the Gap” program with Florence Moore and starting the learning center. She also established the Little Free Library in front of the establishment and maintains the book collection. She has chaired several ABC fundraising galas and events over the years. In addition to ABC, Amy has been active in organization such as Neighborhood Watch, American Red Cross, Lasagna Love, and SD Rapid Response Network Migrant Shelter.

Celina Edwards
Celina works in accounting and human resources professionally. When she found out that ABC was looking for someone with her skill set, she couldn’t pass up the opportunity. Celina’s nephew boxes for ABC, and someone who was like a father to her actually trained under Billy. When she met with Billy, she knew she had to help. Personally, Celina loves to travel: eight years ago, she made a promise to herself to visit at least one new place every year. So far, she has kept that promise. Celina loves working for ABC and looks forward to further contributing to its mission in the future. She is currently ABC’s Office Manager.

Jessica Audelo
Jessica is currently a Land Use and Environmental Planner at the County of San Diego focusing on built environment and transportation projects. Throughout her career she’s been deeply involved in professional planning and community development initiatives as a participant and as a leader. Jessica received her undergraduate and graduate education at San Diego State University. She also established ABC’s Urban Planning Youth Council, an enrichment program that teaches youth about urban planning and encourages them to be a voice and leader in their local city’s planning and decision-making process. She is eager to contribute to the organization’s mission and build a thriving environment for the youth and the San Diego community.

Robert E. Murad, MD
Robert Murad MD was born in Brooklyn, New York and received his undergraduate education at Cornell University and studied medicine at New York University School of Medicine. He trained at UCSD school of medicine and practiced at Scripps Clinic. He also served as clinical assistant professor of medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. Currently he is the Medical Director of the Qualcomm Health Center. He has served on the ABC board for over 15 years in multiple capacities, including chairman of the board on several occasions. He currently concentrates on fundraising, board building, tutoring and mentoring. He has served on the boards of Scripps Clinic Medical Group, Triage Wireless (co-founder)and North Coast Aquatics.

Hunter Alexander
Hunter is currently ABC Youth Foundation’s Director of Web Development, as well as a tutor and mentor for students in the gym. He joined the organization in 2023, first volunteering in the summer “Bridging the Gap” program. Outside of his work with ABC, Hunter is an LSAT tutor, and is currently pursuing a career in law. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Arizona, where he studied Philosophy, Politics, Economics, and Law.
